What Happened

New screenshots for Halo: Campaign Evolved (the full remake of the original Halo: Combat Evolved) were accidentally uploaded early on the Xbox store  The images started spreading fast on X (Twitter) and Reddit They were tied to something called an “Alpha Armory Pack” listing on the store 

👀 What the Screenshots Show

From the leaks, fans spotted some crazy upgrades:

🚀 Space combat scenes (something not big in the original CE) 👹 Brutes appearing (they weren’t in the first game originally) ❄️ New environments like snow, forests, and expanded maps 🔫 Modernized weapons & armor visuals 🧠 Improved AI + bigger battles 🌌 Unreal Engine 5 graphics (huge visual jump)

Basically… this is not just a remaster — it’s a full remake with new content.

🧠 What This Means

The game is being rebuilt in Unreal Engine 5 with new missions and mechanics  It’s expected to be one of Xbox’s biggest 2026 releases Likely reveal/showcase: very soon (Xbox Showcase timing) Possible release window leak: around mid–2026 (July rumored)

If everything in these leaks is true, this might be the craziest Halo comeback ever — like a mix of classic CE nostalgia + modern Halo mechanics.
